Get Groceries Delivered

I work full time, and can't think of a less appealing thing to do on the weekend than grocery shop with the kids in tow. A work mate suggested I get my groceries delivered, and I have never looked back.

I was quite resistant to online grocery shopping at first, especially as I'm a bargain hunter and look for specials, but I now save time and money.   I more than make up for the $10 delivery cost  by not running out of things like bread and milk, and needing to buy it from the more expensive corner store.

No more pushing heavy trollies, waiting in queue, negotiating car parks or unloading heavy groceries from the car. Impulse buys are also a thing of the past.  I prefer to put my feet up with a cup of tea and a book while I wait for the delivery to come! My groceries are delivered to my kitchen bench. I then leisurely put them away.  Done.

I still like to meander around the local craft/farmers markets occasionally, and buy a bit of locally grown, seasonal produce, home made jams etc, but this is just for fun, when I choose.  I'll never be making frantic dashes to the shop for milk or toilet paper again!
