Let Your Kids Earn Their Pocket Money

I rarely wash any dishes in my house- ever! This is because my four children are on "kitchen duty" for one day in every four. This is a huge chore eliminated for me, and the children learn to have pride in their home, develop a good work ethic, and learn to appreciate the value of money. Doing the dishes once every few days is hardly child slave labour, but is a huge help. My children earn $5 a week pocket money. They can spend it however or whenever they choose, but purchases become much more considered when you've worked hard for your money!
